Detection is now previewable in the QuantSentry workspace: tune which trading patterns, from copy trading and hedging to martingale and shared-IP logins, turn into a labeled classification and, when your team decides, a reviewable Case.
Screenshot uses synthetic example data from a fictional firm ("Acme Funding"). No real customer or trader data is shown.
The Detection settings page holds three linked record types: Detectors measure a pattern in trader behavior, Classifications apply a label once a threshold rule holds, and Cohorts scope which traders a detector or classification evaluates.
The page follows one rule throughout: patterns, then labels, then Cases.
A detector never judges on its own, every provider description notes that it neither scores nor classifies the person, and a new classification carries no Case subscription until one is configured separately.
A risk analyst or admin needs to tune what counts as copy trading, hedging, martingale doubling or shared-IP abuse for their own firm, without engineering help, and without every raw finding flooding the Case queue.
An owner needs confidence that a Case is only created by an explicit, reviewable rule, and that creating one doesn't itself restrict an account or decide a payout; that judgment stays with the team reviewing the evidence.
Separating detectors, classification thresholds and Case subscriptions means changing one doesn't silently change the others.
Add any of 12 detector types, including Copy/mirror trading, Self-hedging, Martingale, Shared login address and News-trading timing correlation.
Turn a detected pattern into a label with Create classification, combining rules with "and" or "or" logic and an optional minimum share of trading activity.
Decide exactly when a label opens work using Case creation, including an optional minimum detector confidence.
Build a custom cohort to focus detection on a defined trader group instead of evaluating every trader firm-wide.
Pause a detector or classification without losing stored evidence or existing Cases.
Read each record's Case-creation status at a glance: On entry, Off, or Check paused detector.
Detection reads the trades, logins and calendar events that Connections supplies, and its classification labels feed straight into Cases through Case subscriptions.
The same detector relationships (Mirrored with, Hedged against, Shared fingerprint with) surface as evidence on QuantSentry Network views, and trader-eligible measurements are shared with Metrics.
